𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 often reminds us of the true nature which we are born in. In fact, there are a lot of life lessons to be learned from them. We know innocence is the one quality that comes to our mind whenever we think about children. What felt to me is that their empathy, curiosity, and energy (lack of laziness), which we often see in children, are all part of this quality called Innocence.
I always felt grateful for having kids in my home, and seeing them growing up is a great blessing for me. Because, as I have said in the beginning, they often remind me about our true nature, which gets distorted as we grow up. Sometimes even their minute actions or responses to certain things will push me into deep thoughts. To give you some perspective, I will tell you about one incident.
My sister's elder one.. Aalim! One day he was having his malayalam class. It was a dictation period. So it was his first dictation where he will have to write down whatever the teacher is asking him to do, so after listening to her carefully.

When the dictation was going on, teacher said "Kids don't look at your book while you are writing" ( മക്കളെ ആരും നോക്കി എഴുതരുത് ട്ടോ..!). Then as my sister was sitting beside him she saw him scribbling on his book. She became concerned and asked him "Aalim! What are you doing...? Just write down what teacher says". After sometime the teacher again came up with her exam instructions... "Kids don't look at your book while writing " When my sister looked at his book she saw him drawing irregular shapes again. She shouted at him "Aalim why are you not writing what the teacher is saying.." My sister then looked at his face and that was the turning point. 𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 ..! He told my sister that "teacher asked me not to look at the book while writing, so I closed my eyes."
He didn't know what it meant when the teacher told him not to look at his book. He didn't know what it is to copy in exams, or what it is to fake in exams. In general, children don't know what it is to "fake" someone. They just are innocent, as they always were.
